What could have been.

Our Golf tipping team were on the brink of a spectacular weekend, but the ‘Graveyard of great golfers’ struck and we were ultimately denied the home run. Despite the disappointment, it was still an impressively profitable weekend for the team, who tipped seven winners from ten selections.

40/1 tip Furyk traded odds on in his final round, but his effort petered out on the back nine. He still held on for some place money. Tiger Woods (8/1) had the tournament seemingly at his mercy, before his own weekend collapse.

Westwood was again consistent, and Dufner finished well to coast into the top 10 places.

Our tip for the winning score to be 279 or lower (13/8) was very well backed going in to the tournament, eventually being sent off at 5/6. Unfortunately the course simply played too tough in the opening rounds and we were always on the back foot. Our tip for the tournament to be won by a solitary stroke came home in style though.

Rose placed fourth in the GB & Ireland group, while our ‘Five to Follow’ players all scored well, with all players placing in the top 27.
