Last weekend saw the first round of matches in this year’s Heineken Cup, and here’s how our team got on. Castres proved no match for Ulster, while Scarlets were unlucky in Clermont. As predicted they scored an early try and rattled the home side and were only down 16-13 at half time. Unfortunately they soon had a man sent off and the floodgates opened.

Toulon are quickly becoming a firm favourite for our team. They’ve now covered the handicap in eight of the nine matches so far this season. Northampton overcame Glasgow, but some first half missed kicks from Myler prevented them covering the line.

As the International break rumbles on our Football tipping team lined up some shots at the League One and League Two action this weekend. Sunday was pleasant viewing for the team, with a push and a 7/4 winner for the team.
